About the book:
It’s a beginners book designed to give readers a good overview of modern day web design – very code centric thought. But I do cover everything from basic languages:
– HTML
– CSS
– JavaScript
And then I get into practical things like layouts, forms and building tables. I cover the basics of the 4 layout types:
1. fixed width
2. fluid
3. adaptive
4. responsive
I also introduce several new HTML5 and CSS3 capabilities along with a brief overview of jQuery and Bootstrap.
I believe these days, the hard part is understanding the basics and getting a good overview of all that’s out there … and how it fits together. My book does this.
